David Solomon
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Solomon, co-founder of Condera, founded and previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Redstone Companies, a Houston-based investment firm that specialized in wealth management, private equity and real estate. In addition to overseeing the strategic direction of Redstone, Mr. Solomon was responsible for establishing a traditional asset advisory platform offering multi-manager investment portfolios for traditional and alternative investment strategies. Examples of private equity transactions completed during Mr. Solomon’s tenure at Redstone include the acquisition and repositioning of the Houstonian Hotel Club & Spa and the initial seed investment for what is today Camden Property Trust (CPT), a leading multi-family Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Solomon began his career 25 years ago at Paine Webber. Mr. Solomon previously served on the board of Green Bank, HHN Homes, the Houston Convention Center Hotel Corporation, as well as civic and charitable organizations.

Philip J. Pilibosian
President & Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Pilibosian, co-founder of Condera, began managing portfolios of hedge funds in August 2003 when Condera launched its first fund of funds, Condera Absolute Return Strategies, L.P. Mr. Pilibosian oversees the management of Condera’s alternative investment portfolios, as well as the daily operations of Condera. Before joining Redstone in 2003, Mr. Pilibosian had been with the law firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in New York as well as Mayer Brown in Houston, Texas. During his legal career, Mr. Pilibosian had been actively involved in the structuring and creation of, and advising clients with respect to investing in, hedge funds, private equity funds and other alternative investment products, including several large investment banks and one of the largest European pension funds. Additionally, Mr. Pilibosian specialized in the areas of corporate bankruptcy, mergers and acquisitions, and general securities law, counseling institutions across the world in these areas. Mr. Pilibosian received his B.A., cum laude, from Vanderbilt University, his JD, summa cum laude, from Tulane Law School, and his MBA, Beta Gamma Sigma, from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business. Mr. Pilibosian is an occasional speaker at hedge fund symposiums and seminars, and sits on the Board of the Texas Hedge Fund Association.

Nichole Ake, CAMS
Chief Operating Officer & Chief Compliance Officer
Ms. Ake has over 20 years industry experience. She has an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a B.S. in Finance from Boston College. She completed the three year SIFMA/SII Wharton Program. She holds the CAMS designation and has Series 7, 63, 24, 55 & 99 licenses. She serves as a FINRA Industry Arbitrator. Ms. Ake is Co-Chair of the nation Security Traders Association (STA) Compliance Committee, Past President (2010) of the Dallas Security Traders Association (DSTA). She serves on the Board of Consultants for the Cancer Support Community, fka Gilda's Club of North Texas. Prior to moving to Houston, she was a member of the Junior League of Dallas. Ms. Ake was previously Managing Director of U.S. Capital Advisors LLC. Prior to joining USCA, she was SVP for SGC in Houston. Ms. Ake worked in Dallas for Penson Financial Services, Inc for nine years and was at a regional broker/dealer Huberman Finanical for three years. Originally from Massachusetts, she worked at LPL Financial as a trader for three years and in the Institutional equity Department of Lehman Brothers in Boston.

Debra S. Parant, CFA
Executive Vice President
Mrs. Parant attended Texas A&M University, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance. She is a certified public accountant and a chartered financial analyst. Prior to joining Condera, Mrs. Parant was a senior manager and investment advisor / tax consultant with Arthur Andersen LLP. She is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research, the Texas Society for Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Gordon C. Menard, CFA
Senior Vice President – Financial Advisory Services
Prior to joining Condera, Mr. Menard specialized in private advisory services for corporate executives, high net-worth individuals and family groups for 28 years at Merrill Lynch. A certified financial planner, Mr. Menard develops and manages client relationships and portfolios.

Haden Masterson
Director of Business Development
Mr. Masterson was born and raised in Houston, Texas and graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.S. in Communications and Marketing. Mr. Masterson has been with the firm since 2010 and holds the series 66 and 7 designations. Mr. Masterson’s responsibilities include operations, sourcing new clientele, as well as servicing existing clients. Mr. Masterson is actively involved in the community as a volunteer baseball coach for Episcopal High School.

Mrs. Handly attended Texas A&M University before transferring to University of Houston where she received a BBA. Before entering the financial services industry she started and ran a company finding scholarships for high school and college students.

Stephanie Emig
Analyst
Ms. Emig focuses on Condera's proprietary due diligence, which includes sourcing new managers, due diligence, performance analytics and ongoing monitoring. She is engaged in assessing fund risk profiles, discovering new managers, and preparing macroeconomic research. Prior to joining Condera in 2009, she graduated Summa Cum Laude in may 2008 from Sam Houston State University with her bachelor Business Adminstration in Economics. She has been a member of the Condera team since January 2009.

Zachary Schneider
Analyst
Mr. Schneider assists with the researching of alternative investment managers. He graduated cum laude in May 2010 from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Management in finance.

Bryan Prihoda
Analyst
Mr. Prihoda joined the firm in April of 2010, He holds an MBA at University of Houston’s C.T. Bauer College of Business with honors. Bryan focused on portfolio and security analysis after serving as one of eight student portfolio managers in the Cougar Investment Fund, LLC, a selective, student-run, private investment fund. Prior to this, Mr. Prihoda graduated from The University of Texas at Austin’s Red McCombs School of Business with a BBA in finance, with a particular focus in investment banking and corporate finance. Mr. Prihoda is responsible for researching, sourcing, analyzing, and monitoring alternative investment managers. He is a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon National Fraternity - Life Loyal TKE.
